Christmas Elf Pile

Autumn is definitely on its way ... the monster spiders have started to move indoors, we've had 2 giants in so many days.  Greg tried to catch one last night in the kitchen who then thought he'd hide in the bag I keep my paper stacks in, (the spider that is, not Greg LOL) But my hero managed to retrieve the beast and return him to the great outdoors.  {{#shudder}}
Though I keep imagining that I see one from the corner of my eye and giving myself heart failure!!
(ETA ... make that 3 monsters in 3 nights, another beast has just sauntered across the living room floor!)

This card features another of my new High Hopes stamps ... Christmas Elf Pile.  Coloured with pencils and stickles added to their hats.  Can you tell I've tried to use up some of my old Xmas DP stash on this one? ;)

  1. I don't like spiders either and they do seem to get more plentiful as Autumn approaches! Love your elves though! Each one is adorable and I love that big gift! Thanks, Lynne, for sharing with us at Merry Monday!

  4. I had one of those monsters on my bed the other night and had to get it into a beaker and put it out of the window. Not frightened of them but I don't want them crawling all over me...shudder!
    Meanwhile, back at the ranch, a lovely, happy card :o)

  5. Great card: I love that fun image and might have to go shopping! I found the biggest spider sitting on the bathroom window sill. I was under the shower at the time and Andy had gone to work. I was soaking wet and had shampoo in my hair but still wrapped a towel around myself and went to get the washing-up gloves and a glass to remove it! I must have looked hilarious! Jo x

  7. An adorable card, Lynne. Do I see real white stitching on your card? Looks as if it is...but, either faux or real, I like it.

    Eek.....can't stand spiders...they have too many creepy, crawly legs.

  15. Spiders! *shudder* They are fine on Halloween cards, but not in your own house!
