I've used the stamp version of this digi ... Hopeful Ant. I've coloured him with my much loved Derwent Inktense pencils to match my scrap of DP. Orange gems from stash.

I doubt that your fussy cards are rubbish, but I really do love this card. That ant is so cute...almost makes me like ants. Your coloring is perfect, too!
