Birthday flowers

I'm going for extra brownie points this week .... I've almost used up a whole paper pad.  Whoohoo!  Go me!  Rarely happens in my house ... I've so many little ends of pads that just never seem to get used!

So this sketch was just perfect to get rid of quite a few of my odds and sods!  I would have preferred my orange panel to have been a bit longer, but this little bit was all that was left!
Coloured with watercolour pencils.  Orange stickles added to the butterfly.  Woodware flower punch, card candi from stash.

  1. Oh this is the most adorable and sweet birthday card I've seen Lynne! Whoever the lucky birthday girl is will sure to LOVE it! You've mastered the sketch so beautifully. I love all the different pattern papers and their soft colors. Gorgeous finishing touch with the embellishments too! Just stunning!

  12. Wonderful card! I love the daisy flower you added as an embellishment. It so perfectly highlights the one in the image. Doesn't it feel good to use up all those remnants? I have to work really hard to use up the last five sheets or so in every pad.
