LOL it's only day 2 of Kathy's colouring challenge at
The Daily Marker and I almost didn't make it already ;) I know that it doesn't necessarily have to be a finished card for her challenge, but I'd rather make them up as I colour them. I've a feeling there's going to be quite a few CAS cards this month!
This card uses an older image from Tiddly Inks - I wasn't overly happy with my colouring job on her hair or skin, but hey ho, it will do! Coloured with watercolour pencils; clear gloss added to the balloons; wink of stella added to her bows and dress. Background stamped with a little heart from The Alley Way Stamps.
Oh so cute, Lynne! The Tiddly Inks image is adorable, and I love the subtle heart-stamped background!
ReplyDeleteEvery time Kathy R has one of her colour challenges I'm always determined to join in, but I never get around to finishing a card! So embarrassing, even though it's the colouring and 'me-time' that are important!! I look forward to seeing more of your lovely CAS cards this month! :)

ReplyDeleteI love Tiddly Inks images, and this one is a cutie! Your card is so sweet. I really admire you for joining Kathy's 30-day coloring project. I don't think I could keep it up - there are always a day or two each week that I just don't get any sort of crafting done.
