Temptation!

My good bloggy-buddy Dotty Jo led me into temptation with these gorgeous stamps from Katzelkraft ... and I'm so pleased she did! ;)
Actually, I was kinda short on stamps for male cards, so these are just perfect.
I also purchased a set of the clear Spectrum Noir sparkle pens, and can definitely recommend them.  I maybe eve prefer them over the Wink of Stella ... and they're cheaper!
Anyway, it was a gorgeous bright breezy day, too cold though for anything other than drying the washing, so I had fun getting stampy ....

Card 1
This is for a friend of my Mum.
Doggy and bone coloured with watercolour pencils; sparkle added to the bone, and clear gloss to his eyes and nose; BG chalked; sparkly number stickers from stash.

Card 2
For this one I used up some super-old DP and I also used an old Tim Holtz die - I never really liked using it before as its a big thick die and I could never get my paper to stay straight when cutting.  But then I had the brainwave to tape my card to the die instead of to the cutting plate :)
Coloured with watercolour pencils and the BG splattered with some green paint.  Doggy popped up on dimensionals.
ETA: Top 3 at Natalie and Amy
Card 3
This one was maybe the simplest of all!  I just chalked some of the BG and coloured the bone pressie and that was about it!  Simon Says Stamp sentiment die; sparkle added to the bone and clear gloss to his eyes and nose..

  1. What a cute set of cards. You're right they make great masculine cards and yet you can also make them fluffy and girlie if you want. Glad.you sorted out the die issue, it's so annoying when you can't get it to behave. Cara x
