A Christmas Goose, Custard and a Mouse

Uggh it's been a horrible mizzly day today, I don't think I've been across the door!  Poor wee Ruby has been sitting gazing out at the rain all day, she's dying to get out for a bark at the back gate ;)

So today's make is a Christmas card, using an olide Penny Black stamp.  I've coloured him with watercolour pencils and added clear gloss / glitter to his hat, and Spectrum Noir sparkle to his carol sheet and the snowflakes.  Clear gloss also added to his beak and feet.

I couldn't get a decent pic of my cards today, must be the low cloud!
My second card today was sent to my good bloggy buddy, Jo (from Just a Dotty Pudding)
Sorry Jo, I got my colouring wrong on my kitty ... I forgot that Custard is black AND white.  Doh!
And I got a chance too to fix up my teacher's card from yesterday and put the right name on it!  Do you think I got away with it??

  3. Wow - three great cards in a day! I'm rarely that productive. I really like the layout of your Christmas card. I need to remember the configuration of your DSP strips. They're much more interesting than just ascending or descending.

  17. Awww . . . these are all so cute! Love that first one; your little caroler is adorable and I like your take on the sketch. Ack!! You don't own a Christmas stamp??? Oh, the travesty!! I jest (mostly). But this card is super cute! I would never have guess that the snowmen are part of a piece of patterned paper. They fit perfectly in those windows. Thanks for playing with CHNCC2.

  18. I'm so sorry if my previous comment had some extra comments that didn't make sense. Apparently, when I copy and pasted the "Thanks for playing . . ." I copied part of a comment I left for someone else. Argg . . . must remember to check those things. So sorry!
