Hee I'm actually early with my calendar page this month :) Though I can hardly believe it's almost September and the summer's over. Back to crappy traffic going to work in the mornings, it's bliss over the summer when the kids are all off school!
I've used this oldie from Lili of the Valley - coloured with watercolour pencils. I coloured my flower die cuts to match and then covered all the flowers and the little butterfly with my clear glitter pen. Background chalked using a giraffe print stencil. Peel off 'September' and sliver sequins from stash.

A fabulous calendar page and finished early to boot! Very impressive. Just been catching up on all your wonderful makes, loved your colouring and of course your doodled borders. Cara x

Wow, you're ahead of the game! Love the combo of colours and your colouring is so delicate and just perfect for that pretty image, Jo x
ReplyDeleteA great page Lynne, she is really cute. I know what you mean about the school traffic, although from my point of view it's the yummy mummy 4 wheel drive brigade that make my blood boil bombing around the country lanes. I have been able to enjoy quiet and safe rides for the last 5 weeks!! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling calendar page -- love the sweet image. Thanks so much for joining us this time at the Pile it On Challenge, Elizabeth (DT)
ReplyDeleteThat is an adorable image, Lynne, and your coloring is perfect (of course!). I'm behind on everything right now. Have had company (4 people) for over a month, and they'll be here two more weeks. I've not been able to spend enough time in my craft room. Frankly, it's making me a little edgy, too!! Maybe I should be drinking more wine. ha ha
ReplyDeleteThis is really lovely - time is flying at the moment - it will soon be 2017 and we will be wondering where this year disappeared to!
