A red bride and some sympathy cards

We'd a gorgeous sunny and bright day today, a really perfect Autumnal day.  The leaves are starting to drop and are lovely and crunchy - some day when we win the Lottery I'd love to go to New England to see all those beautiful trees.  Our leaves are much more boring here!

This is another special request ... I've never made a wedding card with a red bride's dress before, but I think this is for an Indian wedding (or it might have been Chinese) not sure.  I probably should have had a bit of gold on it somewhere but it's too late now!  That'll teach me to google it before I make the card instead of after ;)
Image from Lili of the Valley.
Coloured with watercolour pencils.  Clear gloss and glitter added to her white flowers.  Paper Smooches sentiment & alpha set.
I've no sympathy cards in my stash, so I was inspired by this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast - here's Francie's original.  I used this old set from Stampin' Up - I can't remember the name and the gorgeous Poldark is on the telly so there's no way I'm getting up to check!
Coloured with watercolours, and then covered with clear sparkle and then clear gloss.

  3. Lovely cards, Lynne! The bride is gorgeous in red! (This is one of my fave ever LotV stamps, but all 3 of the weddings of my kids' friends that are coming up are same-sex!!!) The sympathy cards are beautiful, such lovely flowers!

We have sunshine and showers in S-E Herts, and it's getting very cold! Winter is coming!

  12. Gorgeous cards - all of them! I love watching Poldark, too. We get it much later - after everyone in your part of the world has seen it, I guess. Better late than never, though!
