Purple is the new Blue

Well Monday again!  Hope wherever you are that your snow is on the way out - normal service has been resumed here and we're back to rain!!

So this is one of those cards that looked better in my head, but it's warts and all on this blog!  ;)  It was an excuse really to play with my new MFT town die!  I've no idea why it ended up purple - with that sentiment I'd intended to use blue cardstock.  I think it would maybe have looked better with the darker purple on the base with the snip of lighter purple.  Who knows!!
I'm very mean with stuff that I love - so my purple glitter card was a teeny snippet that got added as it all looked a bit boring!
Penny Black stamp.  Clouds chalked in BG.

  1. Most certainly NOT a boring card Lynne - I love it! That cat really makes me sn mile and the colours you've used are super together. Great sentiment - and I like the fact that the town looks very much like places have looked recently! So glad it melted quickly I must admit!

  2. I love the purple! It's my favorite color. Your clouds look perfect. I admit I took a very close look at them...and at the snippets of purple glitter card. It adds a nice bit of sparkle.

  3. Love your card. The die fits in amazingly. Can't see anything boring about it. But purple is my fav colour, so no purple card is boring to me :D

  4. What a fun idea to have your kitty rising above the town on her balloon, Lynne (I don't know why I am sure she is a girl lol!). I love your inked sky and the staples add a kind of grungy touch which I like.
Thanks for sharing with us at ATSM and I hope you will join us again soon.

  5. A sweet creation for our 'Feature a Creature' theme at Penny Black and More challenge, many thanks for joining in.

Still so frustrated by RM, but living in hopes it just might bounce back to me - ironic that they lost and returned mail dept in is Northern Ireland.

  13. I think it is a fun one. Isn't it frustrating when some how what comes out your fingers did not match your brain. I thought that they were working together.
