Sympathy roses

Hi all, Sunday evening already!  We'd a lovely crisp sunny day today, though no drying - our back garden is a bit of a sodden mess and the weeds are having a great time!  I was thinking sure the dark evenings will be here soon and then I'll not see them...and then I remembered I'm mostly working from home hahaha

Here's a wee sympathy card to add to my Christmas pressie stash.  My stamp is an oldie from Clearly Besotted and I've managed to use a sheet of unloved DP which was an added bonus :)

Coloured with polychromo pencils and some little purple gems added to the corner.

  1. This is beautiful, Lynne! I absolutely love your lavender roses and the layout of your card. I've seen a few layouts like this lately, and I've got to give it a try. We had a beautiful day here today, too, and managed to get out for a little walk. The trees look amazing, but it's sad to think the leaves will soon be gone and the snow will fly.

  2. Beautiful card and for someone who is recently bereaved will convey so much love and support. I love the pastel shades and of course the clean simplicity of your card. x

Well, nobody ever likes to have to send a sympathy card. But when we unfortunately do, they're always appreciated. This one will most definitely be a blessing to the recipient. thanks so much for sharing this lovely card I our challenge.

  4. Super card Lynne. I love your flower and it's great that you managed to use some of your 'unloved' paper, it's a perfect match for the leaves. Thank you for sharing with us at Less is More.
