Thanks SCS!

So this is this week's sketch from Splitcoaststampers - if you'd like to play along please link your card here.
This is my last week for playing along as a Guest Designer with the SCS team - I don't know how they keep up with not only making cards every week, but also coming up with sketches!
Here's my effort for this week's challenge.  I noted my central panel down wrong when I was scribbling out the sketch, so mine's centred instead of off to the right.

I came across this lovely DP in my stash so that dictated my colour theme.
I've used this cutie from Tiddly Inks - coloured with watercolour pencils and sparkle added to all the blue bits.

My Tim Holtz stamp positioner finally arrived, and I couldn't have stamped this sentiment without it, took a couple of goes with that 'h' and even then, I still had to touch it up with a marker.
Old Martha Stewart punched butterflies aren't even covering an ink splodge, there for decoration only ;)

SCS654 - A Birthday Mouse

So this is this week's sketch from Splitcoaststampers - if you'd like to play along please link your card here.

I must admit to being a bit stumped by this sketch, but I just kinda followed the recipe and I think it turned out OK!
If I was making it again though, I'd have stamped my sentiment in white and I would also have stuck it on straight LOL

Whipper Snapper stamp - coloured with watercolour pencils, clear gloss added to the flowers and sparkle to the pot.

SC653 Hey gullfriend

I was a bit stumped by this week's sketch at Splitcoaststampers - I was stuck thinking they needed to be die cuts, and then I realised actually they could be anything which made it waaaaay easier!  If you'd like to play along, link your card here.

My MFT birdies are still on my desk so that's what got used again ;)  Any time I see seagulls they always remind me of our summer holiday to Lyme Regis, the seagulls there were massive!

Oh and this sheet of pretty bluey-green is from my world famous never ending pink stack!  I popped my gulls up on dimensionals and added clear gloss to their beaks.  Nice and easy :)

SC652 Congratulations Bunny

It's challenge time over at Splitcoaststampers again, and it's a much easier sketch this week ;)  For me anyway, I loved this one!
If you'd like to play along please link your card here.

This card is for a friend of my Mum's who received a gong in the latest Queen's Honours List.  I've used this Lily of the Valley bunny again - reckon this stamp will be one of my much used faves!  Coloured with watercolour pencils and clear gloss added to the flowers.

SC651 Bows'n arrows

So here's the new sketch over at Splitcoaststampers - I must admit I struggled with this one!  If you'd like to play along, please link your card here.

For my card I used this Nellie Snellen stamp that I got a while back and think I've only used once.  Bad me ;)
Coloured with watercolour pencils to match my DP - which has also been unloved in my stash for a while!
I added some sparkle to his feathers and clear gloss to the red rubber on his 'arrow'
I haven't thought of where to add a sentiment, I mightn't bother!

SC650 Bunny Birthday

Happy Mid-Summer's Day!  Where did that first half of the year go!!  It has been such a hot humid and sticky day today, I couldn't wait to get out of our office!  Definitely fuzzy hair weather ;)

Here's the new sketch over at Splitcoaststamper - if you'd like to play along please link your card here.
I was a bit stumped by this one for a while, I reckon those swirls and circles would be perfect for some of those gorgeous mandela stamps doing the rounds at the minute, but my stash doesn't include any!

Instead I've gone for a sun shaped die, and yes, oh dear, it's that pink paper again!  And there's still LOADS left ;)
My bunny is from Lili of the Valley - fussy cut with my Tim Holtz snips (which I'm lovin!) and then popped up on dimensionals.
Sparkle and clear gloss added to my flowers.  A few pink sequins from my stash.

SC649 Kitty Birthday

This is the new sketch from Splitcoaststampers - if you'd like to play along please link your card here.

And here's mine ... hot off the press, the glue isn't even dried ;)
I've used Sebastian from Eat Cake Graphics, coloured with Watercolour pencils.  Silver stars and peel off border from stash.  Bonus extra points for using up the silver peel off corner that's been in my folder for years :)
And lovely DP courtesy of my sister-in-law ... thanks Andrea!

And confession time ... it was only when I went to upload my card that I noticed that the strip was at a diagonal - this is the original version I'd made!  So the update is just a bit the same but different ;)

SCS648 Birthday Mice

Wednesday already, so time for a new sketch over at Splitcoaststampers.  For a change I've actually followed the sketch without changing it ;)  If you'd like to play along, please link your card here.

For my DT card I've used these cute little mice from Penny Black - coloured with watercolour pencils and some sparkle added to the ribbon on the pressie.  Little pink stars from stash.

I really need to get this DP off my desk, seems to be I'm reaching for it every time I'm making a girlie card - though I guess at least I'm using it up!

SC647 Not a creature stirred

Here's the new sketch from Splitcoaststampers -  I flipped it so it fitted my image better and used a snowflake instead of panel #5.  If you'd like to play along, please link your card over at Splitcoaststampers

For my card I used this cutie from Eat Cake Graphics:
Not a creature stirring (scene)

Coloured with watercolour pencils and clear gloss added to the candy canes.  Bonus extra points for using up this oldie DP that's been on the go for a few years now!

Birthday Pinkness

Here's this week's sketch over at Splitcoaststampers.  It's easier than it looks if you have a couple of sheets of DP that kinda go together!  If you'd like to play along, please link your card over at Splitcoaststampers.

For my card I've used these cute little mice from Penny Black - coloured with watercolour pencils and glitter added to the white dots on the pressie.
I'm no good at precise cutting and it took me a bit of slicing to get my shapes to roughly the right shape.  I hid the wonky joins with some silver peel offs so you'd never know just how bad they are ;)

SC645 Winter Chicks

So this is the new sketch from Splitcoaststampers, those swirls had me stumped for a while!  If you'd like to play along, you can link your card here.

I obviously had my wonky eyes in when I took this pic, it's straight in real life LOL.

For my card I've used a newbie Whipper Snapper stamp and those swirls became snowflakes!
Coloured with watercolour pencils and sparkle added to the fur on her hat and to their combs.
And I went over the blue scarf, ear muffs and the rest of her wooly hat with my clear glitter pen ... I reckon the more sparkle on a Christmas card the better!
Sentiment from Happy Little Stampers - I masked it off so I could stamp it on 2 lines.

SC644 Hoppy Birthday

Here's the new sketch from Splitcoaststampers - a difficult one for me!  If you'd like to play along and show me how it should be done, add your card here.

So here's my effort!  I've used one of my new Lili of the Valley stamps - coloured with watercolour pencils and clear gloss added to the balloon.
It looks kinda unbalanced as I'd originally intended to use a slimmer sentiment but then nothing would do but I'd use this Hoppy Birthday one instead!

SC643 Penguin Fun

When I first saw this week's sketch at Splitcoaststampers, I was a bit stumped as all I could think of was rolling hills! I'm looking foward to seeing everyone else's creations!  Hope you'll play along too, link your card Here.

The sun is still shining, so of course I'm making Christmas cards ;)
I've used this oldie stamp from High Hopes - coloured with watercolour pencils, fussy cut and then popped up on dimensionals.   Glitter added to the trim on his hat, and my clear glitter pen over the green scarf and gloves. Sentiment from Happy Little Stampers.
Oh, and my stars are all there totally intentionally, there's actually no Oops marks that need covering for a change!

SC642 Gwen and her kitties

So here's the sketch for this week's challenge over at Splitcoaststampers - if you'd like to play along, please link your card here.
Though I've just noticed I completely forgot about panel #7, oops!

For my card I've used Gwen and her Kitties from Eat Cake Graphics.  Coloured with watercolour pencils, and that's about all I need to tell you!  Nice and easy!  My lovely DPs were a bargain a few months ago from The Range (in Ballymena)

A flying mouse

Here's the new sketch over at Splitcoaststampers.
If you'd like to play along, please link your card here.

I flipped the sketch for my layout ... I had originally intended to have the little mouse flying over a grassy hill, but I had these blue scraps lying on my desk so they got used!
My mouse is an olide from High Hopes - coloured with watercolour pencils, popped up on dimensionals, and clear gloss added to the balloon.
City scape die from Memory Box and red stars from stash.

SC640 Snowman tag

So here's this week's new sketch over at Splitcoast ... if you'd like to play along please link your card here.

For my card I've used Snowman (assembled) from Eat Cake Graphics and my sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers. I covered my snowman with my clear glitter pen for lots of sparkle and added a few clear gems to the centre of my snowflakes.

I haven't used my eyelets for aaages, and was delighted to find one in the stash that matched my DP perfectly :)

I used an old Paper Smooches die to add my stitched hill, and then promptly covered most of it up with my snowdude.  White enamel accents for falling snow.

I miss your face

So here's the new sketch from Splitcoaststampers - if you'd like to play along you can link your card here

My card is for a friend in work who's going to be off sick for a few weeks.  I've used Abundance (MMM butterflies) from Eat Cake Graphics.  Coloured with watercolour pencils, clear gloss added to the butterflies and sparkle to the little flowers.

Though now that I'm uploading this, I've just noticed that I've coloured her legs wrong - I've done the bit between her legs instead! Ah well, maybe if I hadn't told you that you wouldn't have noticed ;)  But it's perfect for Darnell's April Fools Boo Boo Hop :)

Too late for cake?

So here's this week's sketch over at Splitcoaststampers - if you'd like to play along, please link your card here

I thought I was going to have difficulties with this layout, but I loved using it!  I've used these sweet DPs which certainly make up for the lack of cake on my little girl's plate ;)

Stamps from Eat Cake Graphics:
Abagail's too late for cake
Am I too late for cake (text)
Coloured with watercolour pencils and sparkle added to her dress and bow.
Sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

SC637 Flowers and butterflies

Here's the new sketch over at Splitcoaststampers, if you'd like to play along you can link your card here.

For my card I had to move panel #6 as I couldn't get my sentiment to fit in.
I've used this oldie from Lili of the Valley - my photo has paled out the colours, she's not really as sickly looking in real life ;)
Coloured with watercolour pencils.  Sparkle added to the flower and clear gloss and some dots of stickles added to the butterfly.

SCS Sketch #636 Spripey Bear

This is the new sketch for the challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  If you'd like to join in, please link your card HERE

This is actually my second crack at this sketch, the first one was mojo-less and ended up in the recycle pile!

I've used this cutie from Eat Cake Graphics:
Arthur Alooishus in his striped shirt
coloured with watercolour pencils and clear sparkle added to his shirt.
