Try Stampin' On Tuesday DT Card - for Deirdre

Time for a new challenge over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday and this week's option is 'Vacation'.
I loved this sketch, there's so many possibilities with it!

My card is for a friend in work.  I've coloured her hair the same, and she's not long back from her holidays, so I'm sure she wishes she was back in the pool!
I used an Eat Cake Graphics stamp:

Coloured with watercolour pencils.  Spectrum Noir sparkle added to her mermaid outfit.  Background splattered with pink paint to match.  Pink sequins from Taylored Expressions.

 It's Tuesday, so it's time for a new sketch over at Try Stampin on Tuesday with the optional extra of "It's a Party"

For my effort I didn't do any stamping other than my sentiment.  I really struggled with the TSOT challenge this week and blame this DP, every time I use it I'm never happy with the result.  And this one is version #2, number 1 went in the bin ;)
I used my Dienamic star dies, no idea about the maker of the sentiment - it's from a really old set.  Bit of bling to finish.

Isn't she fab, I know quite a few people she reminds me of!

I coloured her with watercolour pencils, and then paperpieced her dress and added a touch of sparkle to her flowers.  Simon Says Stamp sentiment die.  I found this pink card candy in my stash that was a great match.  Not sure of make of flower die.  I also managed to use up some of my gold peel off lines :)
