Purple Birthday

And finally for the evening ... a CAS card featuring one of my favourite girlies from Lili of the Valley.  Coloured with pencils and some sparkle added to the dots on her t-shirt and the butterfly (though I don't think this shows up in my pic)

Faster, faster!

It's been a while since this little Lili of the Valley dude has seen some ink.  Isn't he a cutie, you can almost see how fast his wee legs are going!

Imaged coloured with pencils and clear gloss added to his bicycle ... had to get my cocktail stick out to apply it as some of the lines are quite fine.  Gold sentiment sticker.  Green gems.

MOOy Birthday

Wow, can't believe it's Saturday evening already!  We had a nice morning at a Victorian Christmas market at Ballance House.  I won a poinsettia plant at the tombola, so I'm nearly (but not quite) tempted to get my Xmas deccies up before the plant dies .... I've never been able to keep one alive for more than a fortnight. Ha!

I really really need to get my card stash topped up, so there's a few CAS cards being uploaded tonight ... in between watching Strictly Come Dancing of course!

This one uses some oldie DP from an unloved stack, don't know why it was unloved 'cause I really like this!

Barrel of flowers

Hurrah, I'm off work for a few days now.  Got some of my Christmas shopping tackled this morning with Mum, an indulgent wee snooze this afternoon, and then a bit of crafting :)

This image is from Taylored Expressions - coloured with pencils and clear gloss and glitter added to the wee pink flowers (not sure how well this shows up in pic)  Not overly happy with where I put my sentiment ... it looked better there in my head than in the finished version.  The dark strip to the left is brown, but it looks kinda black in my pic.

a Pink Doggy

Here's another oldie for you ... this wee dog's from a Stampin' Up set and there's a flower stamped on the pink BG but I don't really think it shows up in the pic.
Coloured with pencils; flowersoft grass; silver sequins.

CAS Baby

I'm so glad I enjoy making CAS cards .. my stash is almost non-existent and I've still quite a few Christmas cards to make!  Ah well, I've a few days off next week to tackle my Christmas shopping and hopefully squeeze in a few cards too :)

This card uses another oldie stamp, this time from Art Gone Wild.  Coloured with pencils.  Sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps.

I followed the colour theme from the 10 minute craft dash which I haven't played in for a while, total time 9 min 27 sec.  Most of my time was taken colouring in the image ... the rest of it is just a few die cuts.  I later added some glitter to the bubbles, but this would have taken me over the time limit so I'm adding the pre-version for the challenge.

Pink Xmas

I think this Memory Box die is my favourite Xmas die of the season!  I love the simplicity of it, matched with this super old DP from my stash.  The snowflake is also an oldie Marianne Design die and the sentiment is from an old Stampin' Up set.

I also made a wee matching tag, using dies from Taylored Expressions.

Thanks Duckie!

Ohhh it's been another really cold and the wind this evening would cut you in two!  Our house never seems to cosy up when the wind comes from the North.  We definitely need to teach Ruby that she doesn't really need to open every door wide open when she comes in to a room, and then to close it after her!  It's all right for her, tootling round the house in her fur coat Haha

I'm still on my mission to use up stash - I've intentionally kept this DP on my table so it gets used, and my image is a super-old one from Toodles and Binks.  Coloured with promarkers and a bit of glitter added to the water.

Beee Thankful

Brrrrrr, it's been such a cold day today.  We'd a wee skiff of snow this morning, of course the weather men and radio presenters nearly went into meltdown with excitement LOL.  Thankfully it didn't hang about long, but I don't think my feet have warmed up all day.  Poor Greg Hahaha

This card uses some super old stash ... I'm on a mission!  My DPs were from a candy win aaaages ago and were promptly put in the 'too nice to use' stash.  We'll have no more of that nonsense!  My yellow pearls were from my unloved stash, but turned out to be perfect for this DP.  Happy Days.

I paper pieced my bee from The Alley Way Stamps.  Paper Smooches sentiment.  Die-namics dies.

High Hopes challenge #195

Our new challenge at High Hopes this week is
Circles
You could have a circular card, circles on your DP or circular die cuts ... what ever you want, just as long as you use a High Hopes image.

My card uses Elegant Santa and Holly Jolly sentiment - coloured with promarkers.  I've added lots of glitter to my snowflake, holly berries, and jingle bell ... I thought I had some of these wee jingle bells in my Xmas stash, but the pixies have made off with them, I'll probably find them about Easter time LOL

Seeing Stripes?

Here's a wee card for the fun of it!  I couldn't tell you the last time I had a root in my Stampin Up stash ... it's not in my handy cupboard, so tends to get a bit neglected :(
I think this wee zebra is from the Zoofari set.  My grass and flower are a pastel green colour, but doesn't show up well in the pic.  Coloured with copics and a wee googly eye added.

Pink Woof!

This is another card for my doggy-lovin chum .... I kept the sentiment nice and simple so she'll be able to use this as a Thank You or Birthday or whatever she wants!

Cute doggy is Brutus from High Hopes - coloured with pencils and some clear gloss and glitter added to his pendant and also to the punched out paw prints beside the sentiment.

I love this layout from Clean and Simple Stamping #267 - think it's one I'll definitely be using again :)

Thankful Birdies

There's gonna be a rash of CAS cards, I'm so behind in my cards for pressies and my normal stash is almost non-existent too!

For this card I played along with the spotty theme over at The Alley Way Stamps ... don't ya just love these crazy birdies!  I added some clear gloss to their eyes, and then couldn't resist adding some googly eyes too :)  Coloured with pencils to match the DP.

Heidi & Mattie

Hurrah for Friday evening ... hope the weekend doesn't go as quick as the past week has!  Only 5 1/2 weeks till Christmas {eek} so I need to get a move on ... I usually make a friend some doggy-themed cards for her Christmas pressie and it's usually very last minute, so I'm determined this year will be different. Ha.  We'll see ;)

This card uses one of my favourite doggy images - Heidi & Mattie from High Hopes.  Coloured with pencils and some glitter added for a bit of sparkle.

Card for Aunt Cilla

Ohhh its been such a beautiful bright sunny day today and a nice wee nip in the air - though we'd a real hard frost last night.  Ruby got a bit of a surprise when she went for a drink and her water was frozen!  First time she's ever been 'frightened' of her bowl LOL!

This card is for my Aunt Cilla who, surprise surprise, lives in Canada!  My image is from Kraftin Kimmie - coloured with copics.  I added clear gloss and glitter to all the wee windows, so there's a bit of sparkle.

Baby Lola

Ha.  Everytime I look at this card I have Lola by The Kinks going round my head - it was only recently I actually listened properly to the lyrics and followed the story of the song!

My image is from Wild Rose Studio - coloured with pencils and lots of glitter added to the pink balloons.  (I took the pic before I remembered to add in dots between the birth date numbers)
Tag die from Taylored Expressions - popped up on dimensionals.

Card for Emily

It's great to be back to card making ... haven't made one all week!  My cold has mostly shifted, still a bit of a rattle in my chest, but I'm definitely on the mend :)
This card was a special request for a little girl's 2nd birthday - the only thing I know about her is that she's got red hair, though mine's maybe gone a bit orange LOL.  My silver '2' charm (under the twine) was rediscovered in my stash.  Image is also an oldie from Nellie Snellen - coloured with pencils.

Sorry I've been MIA all week - I've a stinkin' head cold and have misplaced my mojo :(

I used my 'fancy folds' to make a corner bookmark ... you'll find a simple tutorial on SCS here.
My image is Snowy Tag - I just masked off his shoulders, coloured with copics and added some red glitter for a bit of bling.  A nice easy wee giftie to put in with someone's Christmas card :)
