Fuchsia sympathy card

Lol I have to check how to spell 'Fuchsia' every time I write it, you'd think I'd know by now!  This is an older stamp from Clearly Besotted, coloured with polychromos - I normally colour from light to dark, but this time I started with my shadows first and actually used my white pencil!  Butterflies from Penny Black.

Chick, chick, chicken!

Hi all!  Well I'm glad to say all our snow has disappeared, a few days of it is quite enough for me!  And all of a sudden our daffodils have popped their heads up, hopefully spring will be here soon 😁

My card this evening looks like it should be a quickie, but oh my goodness, such a lot of faffing about!  Bits on and then off again, then other bits on and then off again too!  I've used this oldie set from Gerda Steiner, coloured with a mix of polychromos and watercolour pencils, and then pink metallic paint for their chickeny bits 🤣 and also splattered in the background.

Miss Molly wasn't so keen on her first experience of snow.  It was fine the first night when it was nice and fresh, but after the top layer froze her wee pokey feet would go through the ice and then down into the snow and she didn't quite know what on earth was going on!  It was funny though watching her chase snowballs trying to figure out why they disintegrated when she touched them!

Greg's Birthday card

Hi all!  Gosh, Sunday evening already!  It was a bit of a dark damp old day today, not one to inspire you to go anywhere!  So I busied myself instead and got ahead of the game with Greg's Birthday card.  This adorable bear is from a set I bought from Creative Depot last month, destined to be 2023's Christmas cards, but I reckoned the bear would be fine for a birthday.

I got my scraps out for this one - I love all my MFT paper packs and always end up keeping end bits as they're too nice to chuck ...

I found a couple of little silver stars on my table (I mustn't have cleared it since Christmas LOL) so I stuck them on to use them up.  Some blue and green splatters with my metallic paints, and a bit of cord to finish.  Sentiment is from a Penny Black set.  I absolutely love how this turned out, I have sorely missed my mojo for such a long time that it is nice to make 2 cards in a row that I am pleased with!!

Nautical Birthday for David

Hi all!  Well I'm a bit more pleased with my card today than some of my recent efforts!  I love it when a sketch sparks some creativity!

I think the bear, stripes and little hearts are stamps from Creative Depot.  I added splatters from my metallic paints and then a red twine bow just to lift it a bit.

Happy New Year!

Hi all, and a very Happy New Year to you all!  Hard to believe Christmas is all over and done with after the months of run up to it!  Our tree and deccies have all been tidied away, normality resumed and the spring cleaning already started LOL 😂. And my only resolution is to give myself a good shake and get crafting more often!

So my first effort of the year is Mum's calendar page (and my only defence for it being not my best or most interesting effort is that it was a rush make!)

I'm not sure what make this die is, possibly Creative-Depot - the numbers and stars were cut from the central scrap and the silver ones were leftover from Christmas makes.

Miss Molly had a great time on Christmas morning and loved ripping open her own pressies and shredding all the rest of the wrapping paper LOL - the green thing under her paw is a squeaky pea pod from her Aunt and Uncle, still going strong unlike the indoor ball from Santa that went in the bin on Boxing Day!
