Broken doggy

I was asked to make this card by a doggy-lovin friend for her friend who's broken her leg.  My poor mojo suffers though when I'm tired ... it was a 100-mile-an-hour day today and I'm pooped!  Ah well, I know she'll love this cute doggy with his sore paw, an oldie from my stash (think it's from Helz Cuppleditch but I've long since lost the packaging!)  Coloured with watercolours and the wee cushion and slippers paper pieced to match the fancy DP.

Butterfly Birthday

Just a quickie post from me tonight ... it's movie night here and Greg's waiting not-so-patiently!!

This card is based on the photo inspiration over at The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired challenge #48

I paper pieced my butterfly and added a few wee mini butterflies (Martha Stewart punch).  Memory Box corner dies.  Don't know make of dotty border stamp - it's been in my stash for years and I don't think it's ever seen ink before!

Floral Sympathy

My mojo's misbehaving, so I usually go for a wee CASE when that happens.  This card is based on Lorraine's fabulous one HERE - Lols is this week's featured stamper at Splitcoast, there's loads in her gallery I'd love to have a go at!

I've used a Memory Box die and then cut another one in pink to change the colour of the flowers.  I've rediscovered my white enamel liquid stuff, think I might finally be starting to get the hang of 'random'!!  My undried glue splodge hasn't been seen for a while, but this one's hot off the press ;)

My Time to Craft #235 - sympathy
Stampin' for the Weekend - flower power
Cute Card Thursday #308 - clever cutting

We had a lovely sunny day today so went down to our local park ... this little furry guy was more interested in his nut than he was in us, we were almost close enough to touch him!

Flappy Birds

What was all the hoo-ha over Flappy Birds about?  I had it on my phone for a few days and thought it was rubbish!!

Anyway, these are my flappy birds.  Not sure what on earth has happened to the colour on my photo though ... there's actually no blue anywhere in sight and the backing to my birds is bright white.  I took inspiration from Therese's card over at the Muse Challenge and followed her 'messy' watercolouring technique.  My ink kinda ran a bit ... one Stazon ink pad now in the post!!

My image is an oldie, can't remember the make and it's back in the box now!; no idea about sentiment and the little star swirl was in an old sentiment set that I've never even noticed until now!!  So that was all very useful, eh?!!

Greg's Valentine Card

Woweee, the weather men got it right and it's been a few days of wild weather!  Snow last night (not enough for a snowman!), lashing rain nearly all day and now gale force winds ripping round the house. An evening for NOT taking Ruby for a walk and definitely getting my cosy PJs on!

So at long last and several failed attempts (I don't really do 'romantic' cards) this is going to be Greggy's Valentine card (...Brenda, MY giraffe card looked pants!)

I've used these bees from an old There She Goes set ... popped one dude up on dimensionals, gave him some cool shades and a dickey bow and added some glitter to his wings.  Coloured with promarkers.  Sentiment set from Paper Smooches.  Heart charm from stash.  Couldn't get my crappy bow tied right, but hey, Greg will never notice ;)

Lazy Day Frog

Time for a new challenge at High Hopes, and this week is an easy-peasy one ...
Birthdays
Play along with your High Hopes stamps for the chance to win a new one of your choice.

My card uses Lazy Day Frog from the latest release, I reckon he didn't get his card posted as he was too busy catching flies!!
Coloured with copics and some bling added for a bit of sparkle.  Belated birthday sentiment.  I also stamped a wee fly to the inside of the card, but forgot to take a pic.  Oh and I drew my own fly when I was doodling my border, just to pull the images all together :)

Get Well Froggy

Ha, I hadn't planned to add this card tonight, but I've only just realised I got my High Hopes challenges mixed up and this one doesn't fit tomorrow's theme!! So my DT card tomorrow is most definitely CAS ;)

This one uses Froggy Posey from High Hopes latest release - coloured with pencils and loads of red glitter added to the flower petals.

Mousey Birthday

Awww, Sunday evening already!  Boooo!
Looks like we're in for another week of weather, with another couple of storms moving in.  Our heating's bust in work, so it's running full pelt and it's about 9000 degrees inside no matter what the weather is outside!!  Though I suppose that's better than it not working at all ;)

This card was inspired by Kathleen's card HERE, she's this week's featured stamper at Splitcoast.

I've used yet another Whipper Snapper stamp ... I really need to get my table tidied. Ha.
Coloured with pencils and some clear gloss/glitter added to the flower centres.

Stacked Doggies!

I enjoyed using the nice simple sketch from Sketch Saturday that I had another go at it!  This is another of my new Whipper Snapper stamps - coloured with pencils, clear gloss added to their noses and flowersoft 'grass'.  I've also used some really old DP here, I think it was one of the first paper stacks I bought!  Bad me for not using it up before now!! I managed to keep my embellies and bling to a minimum, so think it would pass for a man's card ;)

Tall Birthday wishes

It's been another brrrrr chilly day today, but I'm certainly not complaining ... at least we haven't had any snow and no major flooding, though the fields are completely saturated.  Roll on Spring!
I've had one eye on my stamping and the other on the telly all day for the Winter Olympics.  The Men's Snowboard Slopestyle was definitely the favourite of the day ... how cool are those guys!!

This card uses one of my new Whipper Snapper stamps - coloured with pencils.  (dirty splodge on camera in centre of image is making me cross, I might try taking my pics with my phone, grrr)

Birthday boy

This is one of those stamps that I bought thinking it would be good for boys cards, but for some reason I've only used it once or twice!  I'll definitely have to get it inked a bit more often.  My DP was also one I bought thinking it would be good for boys, but I'm so not fussed on it.  No pleasing me, eh?

Lili of the Valley image - coloured with pencils.  Tab die from Paper Smooches.

Layout inspired by Sketch'n Dies #1 - though I used a square panel instead of a circle.

My card is for my super-cute niece's 4th Birthday.  FOUR! Can't believe it, she's getting so grown up.
My image is Pattys Posies from the latest release - coloured with promarkers and some bling added to the flower centres.  Do you think that looks like Ruby hiding in the basket? ;)

Silver peeloff letters and number.  Red enamel bling.  Whimsy Birthday Wish List stamp.  Paper Smooches arrow dies. Taylored Expressions heart die (dies cut with Cuttlebug)

Happy Bear-Day

We've had all seasons this past few days ... snow, lashing rain, and then today, a beautiful blue sky - though the chill in the wind would cut you in two!  I even got happed up in my cosy clothes and got out to the garden for a half hour for the first time in aaaages.  Washing out on the line and pots all dead-headed.  Fabby :)

Oh, and then some crafty time, after I'd defrosted of course!
This cutie is Sitting Pretty Panda from High Hopes latest release.

Coloured with promarkers.  Memory box leaf die;  Paper Smooches heart die; Die-namics peek a boo dots die; Marta Stewart butterfly punch.
