Eat Cake Graphics: Hadley Kitty & Buddy

Don't these guys look like they really love each other!  This is Hadley and Kitty give Buddy a big hug from Eat Cake Graphics. Awwww

I've coloured them with watercolour pencils and then fussy cut.  There's a wee fence die in the BG but it doesn't show up great on my photo.  The 'Bark' stamp is also from Eat Cake Graphics.  And just in case you don't speak dog, I provided a translation at the top of the card ;)
Chalked clouds in the BG.

Eat Cake Graphics: Yippee!

How's this for a happy looking puppy?!
This is Rowley jumps Yippee! from Eat Cake Graphics.  I've coloured him with watercolour pencils, and then dotted a pale blue copic marker round his edges so it looks like he's up in the air.
Sentiment die from Simon Says Stamp.

High Hopes: Julie's Flight

Happy Monday peeps!  Today's my day for posting over at High Hopes blog, and we're showing off some peeks of the new 'Fairies & Adventurers' release.   Pop over to the blog for more peeks and links to the current challenge.

My card uses this sweet fairy, 'Julie's Flight' and a new 'Fairy Wishes' sentiment stamp.  I've coloured her with watercolour pencils, added clear gloss and glitter to the spots on her wings, and then popped her up on dimensionals.
Dienamics peek-a-boo dots die.
Bling from stash.

High Hopes: Duckie flying kite

Just a quickie post tonight ... it's the last episode of Poldark tonight sob sob :(  I think it's almost the only programme that I make a point of sitting down to watch, ah well, I'll just have to go and play with my crafty stash on a Sunday evening instead ;)

My image is Duckie Flying Kite from High Hopes - coloured with watercolour pencils.  Happy Birthday sentiment from Eat Cake Graphics.
Sky chalked in bg.  I have a couple of silver peel off lines just behind the daisy but it doesn't show up that well in my pic

The most random wedding card ever?

I had the strangest card request that I've EVER been asked for .... a young couple who own a pizza shop, who have a baby boy, love rabbits and who are off to Australia for their honeymoon ... and to include ALL these elements on a wedding card!  Aarrgghh!

After having a major hunt through my stamps to find something suitable, this ended up being one of the biggest cards I've ever made at A5 size so I could squeeze everything in!  Here's a rundown of the stamps I used ...
  • rabbit, kangaroo and hearts from Paper Smooches
  • My chef is Luigi from High Hopes
  • Baby from Lili of the Valley
  • Mr & Mrs and sentiment from Woodware
All coloured with watercolour pencils.  Chef popped up on dimensionals.  I added some diamonds to the Mr&Mrs and chef's buttons for a bit of sparkle.

Considering I agonised over this card for a few days, I'm really pleased with how it turned out!  I think maybe the only thing I'd change if I was making this again (which I'm never likely to!!) would be to put my kangaroo under the 'Mrs' ... he kinda looks a bit odd floating there!

Eat Cake Graphics: Kitties in the Window

All together now .....  "Awwwww"!
How adorable are these little kitties peeking through the window!  This is an Eat Cake Graphics stamp - Kitties in the Window

I've coloured the image with watercolour pencils and popped up on dimensionals.  I added clear gloss to their noses and a touch of glitter to the kitten's collars for a bit of sparkle.  Other than that, not much else!  I doodled my border ... TOP TIP... I can't draw a straight line, but if you add in a dot every so often it breaks the line up and looks intentionally wonky!

High Hopes: Spoutin' Off

It's Monday, so it's my day for posting over at the High Hopes blog :)

Today I've used an older stamp - Spoutin' Off - coloured with watercolour pencils.
My BG was created with a Simon Says Stamp stencil and some Cosmic shimmer spray ... note to self, rinse the ink off the stencil first before rubbing it with my hands, looking a bit like a smurf here LOL

Pop over to High Hopes blog for links to this month's Anything High Hopes Goes challenge - there's 2 HH stamps of your choice up for grabs!

Guest Designer for The Challenge

I'm Guest Designer over at The Challenge this week :)

The challenge was to use the graphic below for inspiration ... I focused on the text print BG and then the pop of red for colour, and of course the embrace!

My image is this super cute image from Eat Cake Graphics -  Hadley and Kitty give Buddy a big hug.  Coloured with watercolour pencils.
Bling from stash.  Simon Says Stamp 'happy' die.

Sympathy flowers

I haven't bought myself any new DP for such a long time ... major withdrawal symptoms!!  ... so when I popped into my local craft store to buy some glue I ended up with some lovely Dovecraft papers in my basket too! oops!  Only the one pack though, so I didn't do too badly ;)

I don't have a single sympathy card in my stash, so used this stamp from Whipper Snapper ... coloured with watercolour pencils and popped up on dimensionals.  Sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps.

High Hopes - Bear Pals

Happy Monday peeps, hope the sun is shining with you!  It's my day for posting over at the High Hopes blog ... so today I have for you Bear Pals from their latest release.
Two cuties, eh?

Coloured with watercolour pencils to match my snazzy DP.  Woodware large flower punch, not sure of the make of the little flower punch.
Gold seems to be making a comeback, so I've used some of my oldie gold peeloffs from my stash.

High Hopes - Funny Farm

Oh dear, how did it get to be Tuesday evening already, back to the grindstone tomorrow :(
Ah well, I had a lovely couple of days off with lots of sunny warm weather, time out gallavanting and some left over for crating too!

This card uses Funny Farm from High Hopes - it's not one I've coloured before and I think I need a bit more practice!  My little piggy looks a bit sunburnt in real life, and my sheep has been dipped in Daz washing powder (for that bluey whiteness!)
Coloured with watercolour pencils.  Clear gloss and glitter added to the cow bell and to the chickens red bits.

We had a wee visitor to the garden today .... a Sparrowhawk on the hunt for a little birdie who was hiding in our Forest Flame!    The little bird did make a break for it, but I've no idea if he ended up being lunch or not!!

Eat Cake Graphics: Felicia and Sparky

This image is Felicia and Sparky from Eat Cake Graphics, and Happy Birthday (fun text).   I'd love it if our wee Ruby would play like this ... she'd be more likely to give me one of her looks and mooch off somewhere for another snooze LOL

I've coloured my image with watercolour pencils.  I managed to get a bit of texture to her hair by lifting a bit of colour from the nib of my pencil to my brush and then just swooshing it through her hair, much the same technique really as using copic markers.  Central panel popped up on dimensionals.

High Hopes: Teddy's Family

Happy Easter Monday folks!

It's my day for posting over at the High Hopes blog.  Today I have Teddy's Family for you ... awww, aren't they cute having a cuddle under the brolly :)  Join in with this month's Anything High Hopes Goes challenge here.

Coloured with watercolour pencils ... I lifted colour from the nib of my pencil with an almost dry brush, and then splodged it through their fur to get a bit of texture.  I think it works!? ;)

My background uses a snow stencil from Simon Says Stamp and some gorgeous sparkly blue paste so it looks like rain instead of snow.  I used this paste to colour the raindrops in my pic too.

Eat Cake Graphics: Rowley jumps yippee

Isn't this just the funnest doggy ever, and I love the title Holly at Eat Cake Graphics gave him ... Rowley jumps yippee

I've coloured my doggy with watercolour pencils, added some clear gloss to his nose and then dotted round him with copic markers.  My sentiment and small stars are from an oldie set of peel offs from my stash ... its lovely and sparkly but doesn't show up in pic.  Die-namics star die.

Happy Easter for tomorrow ... I have my Easter egg sitting on the mantlepiece in readiness ;)

Last Easter card

Well, at least I think it's my last Easter card, there's usually someone I've forgotten about LOL!

I've used my Bunny with Tulip from High Hopes again - coloured with watercolour pencils, clear gloss/glitter added to the little tulip  and then popped up on dimensionals.  Cloud chalked in BG.  Nice and quick!
