This card is for a friend of my Mum who's retiring from her teaching job. I couldn't find a Happy Retirement sentiment in my stash, so I reckoned this oldie LOTV postmark would do just the job.

I think it's great that you found a sentiment other than "happy retirement." Love the image and background stenciling. Your doodled borders always add a nice finishing touch, too.
