Hi all! Happy first of the month! I can't believe it's May already, though I absolutely LOVE this time of year with all the lovely fresh leaves on the trees and all the hedgerows in bloom. So much nicer than the dark days of winter.
So I've a wee sympathy card for my stash to share . I hadn't quite planned on cutting the flower there but I thought I was scribbling on a scrap piece of card and turned out it wasn't. Grrr. Then I got myself tangled up with the layout, chose that corner die , stuck it down, and then wished I hadn't! Ah well, it is what it is, and the flower took soooo long to colour I definitely wasn't going to waste it.

And here's a wee photo of the fields all around our daily walk, a real sea of yellow dandelions!

So happy to see your post. I think your card turned out beautifully...even though you struggled at times. Your coloring is perfect (when isn't it?).
I'm enjoying the greenery and blossoms all around, too. Our tulips are in their glory right now and the crabapple trees on the boulevard are beginning to blossom. They look amazing when they do!
Well I think it’s beautiful and a unique design, a “happy accident”, I love this time of year too xx
The flower looks gorgeous just where it is, Lynne, and you have coloured it beautifully. I really like the stencilling in the background too. I love monochrome cards - I think they're really soothing to the eyes. The field on your walk looks so pretty with those lovely dandelions.
Hope you are well,
Hugs
