Get Well Kitties

Awww how cute are those little kitties, look at their sweet little faces!  And what would kittens be peeping out at, other than a little mouse in his mousehole ;)

My kittens are from Eat Cake Graphics ...
2048-L Kitties in the window
Sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps and mouse from My Favourite Things - BB I Knead You

Coloured with watercolour pencils.  Wink of Stella added to the kittens' collars for a bit of sparkle.  DP from Lili of the Valley.

Merry ChristMoose

I'm on a mission to use up my un-loved DPs in an effort not to buy more!  This lot has been in my stash for a while and seems to be never ending, at this rate it will be about 5 years down the line before I get to buy new Christmas stash ;)

My image and sentiment are from Sugar Pea Designs - coloured with watercolour pencils and some wink of Stella added to his scarf and antlers.
Paper Smooches snowflake die.  White enamel dots for snow and then Frosted Lace stickles for the snow on the ground.

Lewis and Trudy

I do love a good sketch and when I saw the new one at Sweet Sunday I immediately saw the strip at the back as a road!  Think it was maybe because I was looking at this car stamp earlier in the week when I was rooting through my stash.

This is another Eat Cake Graphics stamp:
8016-E Lewis and Trudy's Wild Ride
It's only little, but it's definitely one of my favourites!

Coloured with my watercolour pencils.  I added some Wink of Stella and then some clear gloss to the chrome on the car.  I hadn't intended to add the flowers until I had an incident with my clear gloss that needed covering, but I love how it turned out ... looks like the puppy has his head out the window to sniff the flowers!
I had intended to use a couple of staples to the left of the image, but I've ran out and can't find my refill grrr.  Sentiment from an Alley Way Stamps set.

Kitties and Puppies

Happy Sunday peeps.  I've had a lazy day today, and spent it making a few cards (don't worry, I'll only share two this evening LOL)

I've used a bit of a mixture of stamps here ...
The row of animals is from Eat Cake Graphics:
8008-I Kitties and puppies (row)
My sentiment is from The Alley Way Stamps and the little mousie is from My Faourite Things BB I Knead You

Coloured with watercolour pencils, and then the BG splattered with the same colours.

Cow cards

Well it's raining yet again, but we had a lovely summery morning at Ballycastle beach (pic below) ... I couldn't believe how few people were on it!  :)  I'm off now for a week yippee, so it was a nice start to my hols to get a paddle and an ice cream in the sunshine!

I was lucky to win one of the MFT challenges recently so I picked this set as my prize ... The Whole Herd.  I love that cow's slightly surprised expression!

Card 1:

I masked off my cow a couple of times to make this crowd scene and used my Dienamics photo die.  Coloured with watercolour pencils.  Silver sequins from stash.  Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Card 2:

I used my MFT stencil to make a cow print background.  Cow coloured with watercolour pencils and Wink of Stella added to the pink on his face, and then popped up on dimensionals.    I always love a googly eye :)

Beautiful Ballycastle, Co Antrim ...

CAS sympathy card

Just a quickie visit to blogland tonight ... The Great British Bake Off is on the telly :) Yummmmmmm!  Downside is of course the visit to my cupboards looking for something 'nice' after watching it.  Think there may be slim pickings though!

This card uses this beautiful stamp from Lili of the Valley.  Coloured with watercolour pencils.  Sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps.  Pearls from stash.  Dienamics embroidered rectangle die.

Christmas card #08

So my Christmas card drive isn't going too well ... instead of one a week I'm averaging one a month.  Could be a few store bought cards at this rate ;)

This fab image is
8102-M Not a Creature Stirring (scene)
from Eat Cake Graphics.  I've coloured it with watercolour pencils and added some red stickles to their candy canes.  Green gems from stash.  Paper Smooches snowflake die.
Old DP from a never ending stash ;)
