High Hopes Challenge #183

Our new challenge at High Hopes is ....
Add some sparkle!
Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy!

This card is for my Uncle Ivan who lives in Canada - my image is Mountie Marc and the leaf is the central bit cut out of another image - Team Canada.
I had spent most of the morning searching my stash for a maple leaf stamp that I was adamant I'd seen recently.  I usually keep a record of my High Hopes stamps so when I eventually went and checked, I never actually had a maple leaf stamp in the first place! Aaaarrggh!  Ah well, I 'rediscovered' loads of goodies in my hunt LOL

Unfortunately my glitter and sparkle isn't very camera friendly!  I used black glitter on his belt and hat band, black gems as buttons, and black metallic dots at the top of the black base panel.  Note to self, don't use black, black and more black when trying to show sparkle HaHa

Wanna see my reference books ... I REALLY wish I'd done one of these for all my other stamps - it's so handy to have a flip through and I always spot a 'forgotten' stamp.  Oh, and its great for a winter's evening when you've no mojo, but need something for your hands to colour :)

What a wonderful 'guy' card for your uncle. He is sure to appreciate this card from his niece.

Your reference book is super, Lynne. Glad you came upon some long forgotten stamps. That's always fun.

Wow - how organised are you?!! The reference book is a great idea - maybe you could pop down to Fermanagh and organise mine like this (Think you might need to stay for the week - considering the state of my craft room at the moment!)

So cute! I have similar reference guides for some of my rubber stamps. It does make it easier to find images. Mine isn't quite as nice with the colored images, though. Love how yours looks!
