Wedding Card

I really really struggle with Wedding cards, and this one took most of the evening to make but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.  The longest chore of the evening was my bow die from Creative Expressions .. takes ages to get a good one die cut and then another age poking out the little filigree bits.  Worth it though, it's so pretty.

Oh, in case you're wondering, the bride's name is pronounced Kay-lean!

Your card is beautiful, Lynne. Have you ever tried the dryer sheet technique for getting all the tiny cuts out of intricate dies? You can see what I am talking about here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQx_rKUwjsQ I don't know if dryer sheets are readily available in NI, so if they're not, I'd be happy to send you some. You can email me at cherylwinget at aol dot com and let me know if I can be of help. I could just send some in an envelope, and you could try it out. I've used this technique and love it for my more intricate dies. It really works!

What a beauty Lynne, the colours are gorgeous, probably because my own bridesmaids wore claret coloured dresses!! Tumble drier sheets definitely work, some brands are impregnated with scent so if they feel a little waxy I let them dry out a bit before using them. xx
