For this card I took inspiration from Birgit's beautiful card at the CASE the Designer challenge at Happy Little Stampers. I copied Birgit's idea of stamping some text on the BG and followed her general layout with the central panel and the sentiment coming off it.
My image is an oldie from Penny Black. Coloured with watercolour pencils, clear gloss added to the snail's shell and sparkle to the welly boot. Dienamics circular dies.
- Penny Black Saturday October - autumn colours
- Inky Chicks #73 - animals
- Pile it on #118 - sparkle

Love this design Lynne, the text on the paper looks really good. Such a sweet stamp and the wonky detail on the circles is a lovely touch xx
Looks like you still had sunshine on your mind when you chose your pretty BG paper. Sweet card. Love those stitched circles. Isn't it funny how that little bit of faux stitching adds such a finishing touch?
This is soooo sweet! Love the background paper and cute image!

What an adorable card! I love the sweet pb image you used and the background script font is awesome. Thanks so much for CASE-ing my card this month on Happy Little Stampers! <3
Fab card, Lynne! I love the PB hedgie, and the stamping on your background paper looks so good! I hope you're getting back into a regular routine and not missing the sunshine in Albufeira too much! Holidays are wonderful, but I always moan and groan at all the dratted washing I have to do on getting home!!!!!
