SC652 Congratulations Bunny

It's challenge time over at Splitcoaststampers again, and it's a much easier sketch this week ;)  For me anyway, I loved this one!
If you'd like to play along please link your card here.

This card is for a friend of my Mum's who received a gong in the latest Queen's Honours List.  I've used this Lily of the Valley bunny again - reckon this stamp will be one of my much used faves!  Coloured with watercolour pencils and clear gloss added to the flowers.

July calendar

Woops, only a day or two behind myself for this month's calendar for Mum ;)  I'm not sure what happened to June, it was a busy month and just seemed to absolutely fly by!
This page is a quickie using some cuties from my last splurge at Lili of the Valley - coloured with watercolour pencils, sparkle added to their tails and clear gloss to the carrot.  My dates are hand written, cheaper than buying the little calendar inserts!

If the shoe fits ...

Wow, 1st of July .... and we have the heating on!  Guess the weather knows that the youngsters are off school now ;)
I've been busy decorating in my spare time these past few weeks, so I've been a bit quiet in blogland.  The weeds in the garden are taunting me now so they're next on my hit list this weekend!   Or I might just stay in and get crafty, well see which wins ;)

Anyway, it's time for a new challenge over at Naughty or Nice and this month it's for shoes!  Isn't that a fab graphic!

For my card I've used this oldie from Woodware.  It's not a great photo, it's much brighter in real life and my green DP kinda gets lost here against my backdrop.
Coloured with watercolour pencils and some little green metallic stars added from my stash.  I might add a 'happy birthday' banner to this, haven't quite decided yet.

SC651 Bows'n arrows

So here's the new sketch over at Splitcoaststampers - I must admit I struggled with this one!  If you'd like to play along, please link your card here.

For my card I used this Nellie Snellen stamp that I got a while back and think I've only used once.  Bad me ;)
Coloured with watercolour pencils to match my DP - which has also been unloved in my stash for a while!
I added some sparkle to his feathers and clear gloss to the red rubber on his 'arrow'
I haven't thought of where to add a sentiment, I mightn't bother!

SC650 Bunny Birthday

Happy Mid-Summer's Day!  Where did that first half of the year go!!  It has been such a hot humid and sticky day today, I couldn't wait to get out of our office!  Definitely fuzzy hair weather ;)

Here's the new sketch over at Splitcoaststamper - if you'd like to play along please link your card here.
I was a bit stumped by this one for a while, I reckon those swirls and circles would be perfect for some of those gorgeous mandela stamps doing the rounds at the minute, but my stash doesn't include any!

Instead I've gone for a sun shaped die, and yes, oh dear, it's that pink paper again!  And there's still LOADS left ;)
My bunny is from Lili of the Valley - fussy cut with my Tim Holtz snips (which I'm lovin!) and then popped up on dimensionals.
Sparkle and clear gloss added to my flowers.  A few pink sequins from my stash.

Dressing up time Birthday card

Boohoo back to work today and a gazillion emails later (most of them red flagged to sort out later in the week) my wee eyes are tired, so this is just a quickie post!

All the hard work on this card is done by my snazzy DP - yes it's that pink pack again!  I need another visit to The Range to get a different one LOL
Image is one of my NBUS from Lili of the Valley.  coloured with watercolour pencils and clear gloss added to their necklaces and her shoes.

Floral Birthday

We've had the most glorious sunny afternoon here, definitely at the scorchio mark!  I had a sit down in our garden earlier, something I rarely do (!) and it was great to see all the birds, bugs and bees at work.

Anyway, must press on, the lovely Poldark is on telly shortly ;)
This card is for my sister-in-law - she's a card maker too so I always feel a bit of pressure making hers!  I've watercoloured my Prima flowers and then went over the blooms with my clear glitter pen.  The little white snippet is a Paper Smooches die and is embossed with an old Cuttlebug swiss dots folder.

Here's a wee quickie just for the fun of it.  I've cased Patti's card from her blog Stationery Styles here.  Mine's not a great pic, I can only blame the blazing sunshine outside!  I've chalked a load of circles in varying blues, purples and pinks, but they're not showing up very well here.
My bunny is from Lili of the Valley - coloured with watercolour pencils and clear gloss added to the balloon and plate.
Thanks for the inspiration Patti!
