If the shoe fits ...

Wow, 1st of July .... and we have the heating on!  Guess the weather knows that the youngsters are off school now ;)
I've been busy decorating in my spare time these past few weeks, so I've been a bit quiet in blogland.  The weeds in the garden are taunting me now so they're next on my hit list this weekend!   Or I might just stay in and get crafty, well see which wins ;)

Anyway, it's time for a new challenge over at Naughty or Nice and this month it's for shoes!  Isn't that a fab graphic!

For my card I've used this oldie from Woodware.  It's not a great photo, it's much brighter in real life and my green DP kinda gets lost here against my backdrop.
Coloured with watercolour pencils and some little green metallic stars added from my stash.  I might add a 'happy birthday' banner to this, haven't quite decided yet.

  1. Great card, Lynne, I'm glad to see you are 'down with the kids' and super trendy! Jo x

  2. This is a great card for those adolescent and teenage boys in our lives. I like the additions of the stars, too. A little bit of subtle bling adds a spark to any card.

  3. A fabulous card Lynne, great shading on the shoes. It's been chilly over here too but the sun has come out today and the week ahead looks dry and warm so we have mowed some grass for it will rain now!! xx

  4. Great card, love the funky look to this card x

  5. Brilliant job with the large stamp really does make a fabulous card.
Thank you for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

  6. Great card Lynn, thanks for sharing with Inspiration Destination and we hope to see you again next time. Wendy DT xx

  7. This is such a cute card with that fun image. Thanks for joining our previous challenge here at WORD ART WEDNESDAY. We hope you will join us again in our current challenge soon. Leaving you with the inspiration found in Philippians 4:13 which says: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
