Hugs and Homes

Eeek, I can't believe it's the 19th already and I still only have 1 present bought!  I'm hoping to get myself sorted with a list and scoop them all on Friday, fingers crossed!

This card used this cute image from Eat Cake Graphics - Hadley and kitty give Buddy a big hug
Coloured with watercolour pencils and clear gloss added to the critters noses and their collars.  Hugs sentiment from Paper Smooches.

Day 19 of the Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge

This one's just a wee quickie.  I re-found this old stamp set from Taylored Expressions when I was looking for other stuff :)  I just stamped it in black ink and added clear gloss and red glitter to the hearts.  Sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.

  1. Both are lovely cards Lynne, particularly drawn to the little girl and pets. So cute.

  2. I actually went out shopping or a couple of hours today - and I managed to whittle down my list! I have a granddaughter named Hadley, so I'm loving your first card, as it reminds me of her. She's a sweetie! I also like the simplicity of your second card. It will come in handy when a friend or family member moves into a new home. Hope you're having a good weekend, Lynne!

  3. Great cards! I especially like the second one -- wonderful take on the inspiration photo!

  4. Two more fab cards, Lynne, I especially love the adorable image on your first card! I have bought 2 presents so far: 2 bottles of gin for 2 close friends! You know you have close friends when you know their favourite brand of gin!!!!!
