Sympathy flowers

For Day 4 of the Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge I thought I'd step away from my favourite watercolour pencils and get my old Derwent coloursoft regular pencils for a change.  I'm not overly happy with the finished effect though - I couldn't find my blending solution but it's probably evaporated anyway it's been so long since I used it ;)

I've used this oldie stamp from Papermania - I added some sparkle to the flowers and clear gloss to the butterfly.

Very pretty card. I used something old in my stash today, too - my Glimmer Mist! I was making some Thanksgiving Day cards, and was going to use my Wink of Stella pen on some leaf die-cuts, when I realized it would be quicker to just spritz them with Glimmer Mist. It worked like a charm. :)

This is such a beautiful card! The color palette is soothing and cheery all at once and I love how you incorporated elegant elements like the lace detail. And even though I know you wrote that you were not entirely happy with the end result, I think it is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
