Christmas Chicks

Hi all, I've been MIA for a while with a sore shoulder, so no crafting and no blogging :(  I'm still not right, but got a bit bored this evening so made this quickie Christmas card and matching tag.
These are Whipper Snapper chickens - coloured with polychromos and gloss/glitter added for some sparkle.  Paper Smooches snowflakes cut from glitter card.

An elf and a balloon

Another quickie visit to blogland this evening, Poldark is on TV and I've an hour of the gorgeous Aidan Turner to get through ;)

This first card uses this sweet little MFT elf, coloured with polychromos, glitter added to his hat/sleeves and clear gloss to the bauble and little bell.

This one is based on the book cover over at the Library Challenge, not a book I've read I confess.
Balloon coloured with polychromos and popped up on foam pads.
Sky stenciled using the Simon Says Stamp wave stencil and a few cloud dies added for good measure.

Ruth's Birthday card and a Pelican

Just a quickie post tonight, Killing Eve is on shortly so I'm on the clock here ;)

This is my sister's birthday card using a recent-ish purchase from Whipper Snapper.  Coloured with polychromos.  I got a bit carried away with adding all my extras, I could have done with a bigger size card though this is kinda the biggest I normally make!
Gummiapan squiggly edge die; Paper Smooches heart die.

And this one uses a real oldie from High Hopes, paired with a few fishies from an MFT set.
Coloured with watercolour pencils and clear gloss added to his eyes, feet and the rope round the posts.  Water stencil is from Simon Says Stamp.

Summer time

We had a damp, cloudy, frizzy hair type of day today, so I thought I'd go looking for summer in my cards instead ;)

I won this Reverse Confetti ice lolly set ages ago and had no clue what to do with it, so this is it's first outing.  I paperpieced the lolly, added another layer for the central bits and then added some clear gloss and lots of glitter. I didn't quite get the layering order right in my layout so added the little arrow as it just didn't look right.
This card will be to send a few €€ to my newphew and niece for their holidays so I'm sure they'll be more interested in what's inside ;)

And here's my Whipper Snapper birdies again, I think this is maybe one of my favourite stamps ever!
Coloured with polychromos to match this pretty DP and gloss/glitter added to their wings.  I had a dirty finger incident in the top corner and needed a major cover up but didn't want to add any yellow so just cut my sun from white card; I like how it turned out :)

In a CAS mood

We've had the most glorious sunny summer's day today, and I was totally self indulgent and just chillaxed all day, read my book and did a wee bit of colouring :)  I'm still in search of my Mojo, so just kept it nice and simple.

I coloured my little bunny from Purple Onion Designs with my polychromos and popped him up on foam pads.  I scored a few lines in the background and added a few little silver stars.

And here's Mum's calendar page for the month, just a tad late!
I've used this old Wild Rose Studio stamp that I bought a long time ago and I don't believe I've ever inked it up!
I was happy with how the colouring on my skirt turned out with the folds, but I've no idea how I actually managed it, bit of a happy accident that!

Floral Sympathy

I'm still struggling with my mojo, reckon he's off on his hols sunning himself on a beach somewhere.  Ha, funny how it's Mr Mojo and not Mrs ;)

Anyway I was lucky to win this Uniko flower set recently from the AAA Card Challenge blog, so I figured it was about time I got some ink on it.  I should maybe spend my mojo-less time looking up pictures of flowers to see how I could colour these.
Here's a wee photo of Ruby after her haircut, looking nice and clean for a change!  Unfortunately she absolutely HATES getting her picture taken, so usually when she sees the camera the only photo I get is of her backside as she scarpers ;)
