Our new addition and Ryan's birthday

Hi all!  Sorry I've been on the missing list again, I've had a bit of a tummy bug for a while, plus the addition of a new puppy means there's been no time for blogging!  So without further ado, please meet Miss Molly....

She's a 9 week old West Highland White Terrier and full of beans!  It's like having a wee rocket running round the house and then her batteries run out and it's snoozy time for an hour or two!  So she will be keeping us busy for sure!  Any training tips welcome!!!

In the meantime we've had to totally puppy-proof our house!  I would always have had a box of crafty stuff, packs of card, guillotine etc sitting at my feet in the corner of the kitchen - Ruby would never have looked twice at but Molly would have a fab time trashing, so at the minute everything is everywhere out of reach of a little doggy.

With all the fun and games my nephew's birthday card was a bit of a quick make!  (Reckon he was more concerned with the contents anyway 😉)  It's not very often I make a card using only dies and no stamping or colouring!

Pixies Snippets Playground challenge- it's a Ruby's Memory challenge and Kathy has donated some lovely Christmas goodies as a prize.

Your card is really cute, but OMG! I just want to snatch this wee fur ball up and snuggle her!!! So happy for you. I know how empty the house feels when our fur friend is suddenly gone. Have fun with her!!! Keep sharing pictures!

Little Molly is just beautiful. Congratulations! How fun to have a pup in the house. I can certainly understand why you haven't had much time (or energy) to blog. I think your birthday card is brilliant. A bold and graphic design is perfect for an 18-year-old boy. Have fun with your new fur baby, and I hope you'll be sharing lots of pics of her antics in future posts.

Welcome Miss Molly - what a cutie and a fab name too. I know from having had a Westie that training does not last with a stubborn westie lol!
Lovely card and perfect for an 18th.

A lovely card Lynne - and quick cards are most certainly the way with little Miss Molly around. She looks absolutely adorable - I'm so thrilled for you and Greg. Fun times ahead! Don't ask me about training tips - we did our best and still have a bundle of mischief.

Hugs

Di xx

What fun to have a new pup! Your card reflects “Molly”. The blue / white color scheme works nicely. Thank you for joining my challenge choice at Cardz4Guyz this round. Cheers, Jolanda - DT

Good golly Miss Molly is adorable.

My tip: play with her paws everyday. Touch each toe as if you were going to snip them so she doesn't think a thing about it and it won't be a big deal.

Hope you get to feeling much much better. [Bunny]

You are so right about the lad being more interested in the contents, Lynne, so it is a perfect design for him and an easy make when you only have a few minutes while Miss Molly is having a quick nap and recharge of her rocket batteries! She is so dang cute! I'm very happy for you to have a new puppy to love and to receive love in return! My only tip, when she gets too full of beans, is to quickly pop her upside down on your lap. It works a treat to let a little whippersnapper know who the alpha dog is! Hugs, Darnell
