Summer flowers

Hi all!  Oooh that was a warm day, our thermometer in the garden showed 29 degrees in the shade, and don't think it's an awful lot cooler this evening.  Not weather we're used to here, though I'm so glad we didn't get the heat that England and Wales got, I'd be melted into a puddle!  Having said that, it would be nice to get a better share of the sunshine, so far our "summer" has been rubbish!

We've been painting the outside of our house these past few days so it's lookin good - we've had all weather, at the start I was painting in my fleece, then dodging the rain showers, and then today was shorts, t-shirt and factor 50!  Not too much left to do, but it's due to be even hotter tomorrow so the paintbrushes will be put away for a day or two.

Anyway, I treated myself to a couple of the new LOTV stamps, I'm so glad they brought out some of their new release as actual stamps rather than just digis.  The little butterflies are a Penny Black die.

Certainly is a tad warm Lynne, hubby just came in and said the temp at the moment is 34deg and it's only 9.30am. The girls (dogs) are all located near coolers and just hope they are sensible enough to stay put.

Such a sweet little girl with her summer flowers and a perfect card for our Stamping Sensations theme this month, thank you.

How ambitious for you to be painting the exterior of your house! Good luck with it. Hope the weather cooperates for you.

Your card is simply adorable! I love the embossed panel and especially the addition of that thin colored stripe underneath it. Thanks for participating in our Summer Lovin’ challenge at Cut it Up!
