I used an olide text stamp on top of the Brushos and then added some even older silver peel offs. Kitty is another oldie from Penny Black - yeyyy, go me, just have to use up the oldie paper stash next ;)
Image coloured with watercolour pencils, popped up on dimensionals and clear gloss added to the balloon.

I like the background, it looks like confetti! And I love the adorable PB kitty!
love Mags B x
No, I don't think it looks like a murder scene at all. (No yellow crime scene tape anywhere!!) Just teasing. It is a lovely card, and I love your background idea, as well as the coloring on the kitty. Nice work, and I saw it on the 30-day color challenge page.
I had to laugh out loud when I read your post. Rest assure that is not where my mind went UNTIL you mentioned it. I think it's a terrific card! Love his cute little face! Thanks for linking up with us at Seize the Birthday Lynne. It is always a pleasure having your work in our gallery!
I think your background looks great and I certainly didn't get that impression. Love the cute kitty and your coloring.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday.
Murder scene? I don't think it does. I think your card is pretty darn cute. The red splatters just kind of highlight him. I think he has a red "aura." he he
Far too cute to be a kitty massacre! JO x
Ha, ha! For what it's worth, I would not have thought of a murder scene without you pointing me in that direction. I run into the same problem whenever I dabble with spraying red, but I really like how this card turned out! I really like how you colored your kitty and how you built up the background with text. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
It's a great card, Lynne - I love the colors! Thanks for joining us at Crafting When We Can Challenges! - Patti (CWWC DT)
Oh you did make me laugh with the murder scene comment! I have the same trouble using my red Color Burst powders--maybe I'll try mixing it or only use a tiny bit. Anyway--that is one adorable image colored beautifully! Glad you joined us at PBSC!
What a great, fun design! Thank you for playing with us at Crafting When We Can!
